Originally for the Okami contest. I'm slightly disappointed with the winners that the DA staff picked -_-.

I tried to show what Amaterasu's Bloom might look like after the brush technique. Dead land suddenly sprouts grass where she stands (and glowing yellow Praise ) and the celestial cherry blossom petals glow and start becoming part of the tree from the top. The clean water ebbs towards the tree as well.

I added in the kanji because I thought the white border too plain. Read from top down:

O - kami (wolf/god) (haha pun!)
Eien (eternity)
Saisei (rebirth)
taiyou (sun)
souzou (creation)
suuhai (worship)
shugo (protection)
shinrai (trust)
Satsugaisha (slayer)
Densetsu (legend)
Yuuki (courage)

For the record, I don't actually know how to read or write kanji and just copied some things online, so my strokes may not make any sense .

I'm really inept with the sumi-e style, but I tried to add this "painted" feel with black "ink' by outlining a few things. For the ground texture, I skewed the parchment background provided in the resources pack. For the water, I layered the cloud/swirl parts of the same parchment background.
